Here we have for sale Sweet Georgia Brown.
She is an all steel (10 : 6: 4) 40ft cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1973 by Mindon Cruisers with a Lister SR2 engine and gearbox.
She is moored near Hapton on the Leeds/Liverpool canal close to bridge 123.
Moorings cost £18 per week paid quarterly and are paid until the end of this year, they may be available subject to the owners agreement.
She is a 4/5 Berth, ideal as a live-aboard or holiday boat.
She has had a new bottom and sides by Longport Wharf in 2001, out of the water in 2008 for re-black, new front and back covers in 2008.

She has been re-fit this year (2011) to a high standard as listed below.

She starts first time every time even if you left her for months so whenever you want to jump on and go you can. If you want to live aboard you can. Although you can hook her up to 240 volt, she is fully self sufficient without so you can live anywhere on her.
