Gt Haywood

Overlooking Shugbborough Hall, just below lock 13. A lovely outlook, and close to the village of Great Heywood, and the walks around Cannock Chase. The village is reached accross bridge 73, with a two good general stores,a butcher and two excellent pubs.

Kidsgrove

Close to the BW offices, all facilities there, a good overnight before or after Heartbreak Hill.

The Flashes Nr Middlewich

North of Middlewich there are a couple of flashes as most boaters will know, a lovely peaceful place to moor.

Anderton

Close to the lift by the park, corner shop and pub nearby. Love watching the lift in action.
