 Moor next to the football stadium. If you go up to the street there, and turn left, and go on a ways until you come to a sort of high street looking area, and then turn right (it is a T intersection) you will find a launderette on the right, about 1/2 walk away altogether. Also at that mooring is a grocery store, and some takeaways, the Chinese one is fairly decent. We've never been bothered there, but I wouldn't moor up there on a game night either.

About 2 miles from Canal at Hopwas and about 1 mile from Canal at Glascote Basin Ring Gwen (manageress) on 01827 68712 and they will collect and redeliver sometimes same day or next for £3 extra within 5 mile area which includes lots of village areas including Fazeley & Fradley Canal Basins. This launderette is only 200 yds from Tamworth centre and only 100yards from River Tame and the River Anchor. Launderette open 7 days a week from 8.30 - 6,00pm weekdays. Excellent service and very reasonable prices especially large washes.

The Wright Wash, Barlow Close, Tamworth. B77 3EF Stop by bridge 71, cross the canal and turn right on Argyle, turn right on Barlow Close and its on the left. Open Mon - Sat 9.30am - 6.00pm last wash 4.00pm Sunday 9.30am - 2.00pm

About 10 minutes from the Canal Basin, leave via the front entrance, turn right up St.Nicholas St, then right at Sandy Lane and right into Widdrington Rd. the launderette is on the right. Machines are £5, £4 and £3, and the dryers are 50p per go, (could take £2 to dry a full load). Service washes and dry cleaning available. Open 7 days 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. They are very friendly and are very keen to have canal boaters as customers.
