Stuck in a frame click here to escape.

When sailing down a canal in a boat, you might want to decorate it with some awesome irish art.
So get on the net and check out all the irish artwork on offer and get something great to show off to everyone!

Welcome to the U.K. Canals Network.

If you have an interest in the canals and waterways of the United Kingdom, or need some information then hopefully you will find what you are looking for here.

The pages of 'UKCanals Network' are being re-designed, and I hope you like the new look; more pages with the new look will be added as time permits.

We are proud to say that the UK Canals web site has now featured in two television programmes. 'The Learning Zone' featured the use of web rings to gain information on the net and gave the 'UK Canals Web Ring' as an example.
'Eye in the Sky' in programme nine when covering canals, mentioned the 'UKCanals' website as a place to get further information on the canals.

I have been asked by visitors to the site about recycling centres near the canals, there is now a new list providing details and locations of as many recycling centres and points as possible within easy reach of the canal, and is available to download in 'pdf' or 'Microsoft Word 2000' format.
All contributions to the list will be gratefully accepted and acknowledged.
Please e-mail me with any information you have, exact location, how far from the canal, any restrictions and where to moor.

Other new lists are 'Restaraunt, Trip & Charter Boats'.

'Waterways of the UK' is an ongoing project and will be up-dated as time permits.

Quite a few boaters are now 'Twittering' and I am working on a new 'Twitter' list, do you Twitter, e-mail me to let me know your 'Twitter' URL or contact me at at my 'Twitter' address and I will add you to the 'Twitter' list.

The launderette list is now available to download in 'pdf' or 'Microsoft Word 2000' format.
All contributions to the list are welcome and acknowledged.

If you find any information in these pages which you think is wrong or mis-leading then please let me know.

If you have any information which you think would be of interest then please let me know, and it will be included.

Anyone with a site relating to the canals and waterways of the U.K can join the U.K.Canals Web-Ring. It is open to private and commercial sites and is a way of increasing visitors to your site. There are now over 150 sites in the ring.

If you have a web-site and you wish to have a link to this page, e-mail me with
the details.

Thanks for visiting the site, I hope you enjoy your stay here, if you have time why not sign the guestbook.
New lists and links are being added constantly, so why not call back soon.
Ken.
